Job Opportunity: Rehabilitation Therapist

Location:
Hilo Medical Center, Hilo, Hawaii

Employment Type:
Contract (26 weeks)


Job Description

  • Primary focus on acute inpatient rehabilitation with secondary coverage in ICF/SNF rehab settings.
  • Responsible for evaluating and re-evaluating assigned residents/patients.
  • Plan and implement ongoing therapeutic physical therapy programs as prescribed by attending physicians or consulting specialists.
  • Provide consulting physical therapy services.
  • Must be available to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as necessary based on hospital operations.

Requirements

  • Must have an active Hawaii State license by the start of the assignment. Travelers without a current Hawaii license must apply upon acceptance of the offer.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience working with adults in at least one of the following settings: acute care, rehab hospital, or skilled nursing facility (SNF).
  • Current BLS certification required.

Work Schedule

  • Variable shifts:
    • Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
    • Tuesday to Saturday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
    • Sunday to Thursday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
