Travel RN – Emergency Room (ER)

Location: Dallas, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Weekend – Every other weekend
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Call Requirements: Yes

Unit Highlights

• Documentation System: Meditech
• Floating Policy: As needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN License (Temporary licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years RN experience
• Minimum 2 years specialty experience in ER
• Certifications required:

  • NIH Certification
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Meditech documentation system preferred

Dress Code & Appearance

• Scrub Color: Royal Blue
• Nails: Clean and healthy; no artificial nails, gel, or similar enhancements
• Hair: Neat and clean; no extreme styles or colors; must be pulled back if shoulder length or longer when working in the lab
• Facial Hair: Beards, mustaches, and sideburns must be clean and neatly trimmed
• Tattoos: Should be covered whenever possible; exceptions addressed individually
• Piercings: Only ear piercings allowed; visible piercings such as nose or tongue rings are prohibited

Additional Policies

• Attendance policies as per company-wide standards
• Floating to other units as needed
