Travel RN - Operating Room (OR)

Location: Denver, Colorado

Job Details

Unit Information

Facility Type: 408-bed hospital with a Main OR consisting of 14 ORs (including 1 Hybrid CV OR, 1 Cysto, and 12 multipurpose ORs)
Staffing:
- 60 full-time employees
- Day Shift: 14-16 RNs, 14-16 CSTs, 2 Clinical Charge RNs
- Night Shift: Clinical Charge RN, 1 OR RN, 1 CST with call teams for Neuro, CVOR, and General
Patient Ratios: 1:1
Equipment: Standard OR equipment, Stryker Video systems
EMR System: Meditech

Required Qualifications

Licenses: Registered Nurse License
Certifications: ACLS, BLS
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as an RN in the specialty (Operating Room)

Skills & Preferences

Must Have: Ability to circulate independently as an RN
Preferred:
- CNOR certification
- Meditech experience
- Ability to scrub

Typical Procedures

All procedures performed in the OR except transplants
