Travel RN - BMT ICU

Location: Denver, Colorado
Unit: Blood & Marrow Transplant (BMT) ICU
Facility Type: Large Blood & Marrow Transplant center, leader in CAR-T research


Job Details

  • Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Employment Type: Travel
  • Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM (Night Shift)
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

  • Beds: 37
  • Staff: 82 nurses, 7 Patient Care Technicians (PCTs)
  • Night Shift Staffing: 1 charge nurse, 15-16 nurses
  • Patient Ratio: 3:1
  • Equipment: Alaris Pumps
  • EMR System: Meditech

Required Qualifications

  • Oncology experience
  • ACLS certification
  • Registered Nurse License
  • BLS and NIH Certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Chemotherapy Certification
  • BMTCN and/or OCN certification

Typical Procedures

  • Chemotherapy administration
  • Neutropenic fever protocols (including blood culture draws and IV medications)
