Description
Respiratory Therapist Travel Assignment
Location: Children's Hospital Colorado – Anschutz Medical Campus
Contract Length: 13 weeks (December 23, 2025 – March 28, 2026)
Shift: 12-Hour Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
Position Requirements
- Education: Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Cardiopulmonary
- Licensure/Certification: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Travel Experience: Must have prior travel assignment experience
Required Clinical Experience
- Minimum 3 years Pediatric ICU
- Minimum 3 years Neonatal ICU
- Minimum 1 year Emergency Department (ED)
- Minimum 1 year Pediatric Level 1 Trauma
Required Certifications
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
- NRP
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years Pediatric ICU
- Minimum 4 years Neonatal ICU
- Minimum 2 years Pediatric Level 1 Trauma
Schedule & Work Requirements
- Float Requirement: Must float between Anschutz Medical Campus and network locations within 35 miles
- Weekend Requirement: 13 weekend shifts out of 26 weekends (both Saturday & Sunday)
- On-Call: None
- Holiday Requirement: Must work observed holidays during contract period
- Requested Time Off (RTO):
- No more than 10 days off during contract
- No RTO approved within first 2 weeks of assignment
- RTO Blackout Period: December 21, 2025 to January 4, 2026
Additional Notes
- Flu vaccination required; medical and religious exemptions allowed
- Returning travelers only for this start date
