Travel RN - Telemetry Unit

Location: Denver, Colorado
Employment Type: Travel

Unit Information

Unit: Telemetry (4 Central/61121)
Beds: 32
Staffing:
- Day Shift: 1 charge nurse, 4-8 RNs, 2 floor CNAs, 1 sitter
- Night Shift: Similar staffing as day shift
Patient Ratios: 4 or 5 patients per nurse
Equipment: GE Telemetry system
EMR System: Meditech

Job Requirements

Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Certification
Licenses: Registered Nurse License
Experience:
- Must have telemetry experience
- Preferred: Experience caring for post-op CABG patients
- Preferred: Meditech experience

Typical Procedures

IV starts
Foley catheter starts
Chest tube removal
