Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - Temporary Assignment

Location: Keene, New Hampshire
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Details

  • Unit Beds: 10
  • RN to Patient Ratio: 2:1
  • Patient Population: Adolescent to Geriatric
  • Trauma Level: Level III
  • Shift Scheduling:
    • No block scheduling or schedule accommodations will be accepted.
    • Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted and verified at time of application; no changes allowed after offer.
    • Maximum of 5 days RTO allowed (less preferred).
    • Holiday coverage requires working two of the following holiday periods:
      • Thanksgiving and the Friday/weekend after
      • Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and the Friday/weekend after
      • New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day and the Friday/weekend after
  • Orientation: No non-billable orientation required.
  • Overtime/Holiday Pay Multiplier: 1.25x

Requirements

  • Experience:
    • Minimum 2+ years current ICU experience required
    • EPIC electronic health record experience
    • Arterial line experience
    • May float to Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
    • Proficient with IV drips, ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring, and vasoactive medications
    • Charge nurse and preceptor experience is a plus
  • Licensing:
    • Must have a valid New Hampshire RN license or compact license eligible for NH
    • New Hampshire Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate required upfront for submission
  • Certifications:
    • ACLS (AHA)
    • BLS (AHA)
    • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
  • Other:
    • Must have own vehicle
    • Permanent address must be included in profile
    • All medical and occupational health compliance items must be completed within 72 hours of offer acceptance and uploaded to the system
    • No local travelers within 50 miles of the facility will be considered

  • 169-bed regional referral center
  • Provides primary and specialty care in southwestern New Hampshire
  • Located in a scenic area with access to outdoor activities such as hiking and exploring historical sites
  • Close proximity to Boston, MA and Hartford, CT (approximately 110 miles to each)

Note: Extensions ending in November or before December holidays will not be considered for extension into 2026.
