Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist

Location: Bismarck, North Dakota
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced IR Technologist to assist Radiologists during interventional procedures. The role involves scrubbing in, coordinating the procedure room, scheduling and coding procedures, post-procedure film processing, charting, and billing.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 3 years as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
• Certifications:

  • ARRT (R)
  • BLS
  • North Dakota Medical Imaging Board registration (NDMIRT) – required, takes about 4 weeks to obtain
• Preferred: EPIC EMR experience
• Background check required

Work Environment & Equipment

• Work primarily in Interventional Radiology with some floating to other departments such as CT
• Two fluoroscopy rooms, CT utilization, two MIS rooms for ultrasound procedures
• Equipment includes:

  • Electronic EMR (Epic)
  • Sectra PACS
  • Toshiba IR Machine
  • Siemens Ultrasound Unit

Schedule & Shift Details

• 8-hour day shifts with possibility of finishing ongoing cases started late
• Call required: evening and weekend rotation, approximately 10 days or less per month
• Work independently on smaller cases and in pairs for large angiography procedures

Additional Information

• Scrubs provided (Ceil Blue color)
• Must badge in and out at the facility
• Local travelers with permanent addresses within 80 miles are not accepted
• If previously employed at this facility, must have ended employment at least 6 months prior to submission

Orientation & Training

• EMR training and general equipment/protocol review provided by department
