Job Overview

• Position: Registered Nurse (RN)
• Location: Rock Island, Illinois
• Employment Type: Temporary
• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work as part of an interdisciplinary team providing and managing patient care.
• May be required to float between Med Surg and Stepdown units.
• Patient ratio: 1:5-6.
• Local candidates NOT accepted; must reside more than 50 miles from the hospital.
• Required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving).
• Limited time off allowed during holiday periods (11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26).

Experience & Skills Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg experience required.
• Stepdown/Cardiac experience preferred.
• First-time travelers accepted.
• Must complete a skills checklist within 1 year of submission.

Certification Requirements

• ACLS (AHA)
• BLS (AHA)

Licensing Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license required at time of submission.
• Iowa RN license also required; if not active, proof of application for IA single state or compact RN license must be provided.
• Compact license allowed.

Submission Requirements

• Work history/resume.
• Skills checklist (completed within 1 year).
• License verification.
• Copy of required certifications.
• One supervisory reference.
• Proof of taxable address (one of the following):

  • Driver’s License
  • Current Utility Bill
  • Lease/Rental Agreement
  • Mortgage Statement/Bill
  • Homeowner’s or Renter’s Insurance Statement/Bill
  • Voter Registration
  • Bank Statement

• Night shift differential: 16 hours
