Description

Job Opportunity: Respiratory Care Practitioner (Cardiopulmonary)

Location: Lewistown, Montana
Employment Type: Contract (13 weeks)

Job Description

Provide respiratory care to patients across multiple areas including Acute Care, OB, ER, and others.
Perform basic interpretation of electrocardiograms and identify life-threatening arrhythmias.
Understand indications and contraindications for all respiratory care procedures per American Association for Respiratory Care Clinical Practice Guidelines.
Perform Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Advanced Life Support (NALS) protocols.
Provide relevant patient condition data to physicians through respiratory care assessments and consultations.
Perform intubation procedures successfully.
Call, weekends, and holiday shifts are required.

Requirements

Current Montana Respiratory Care Practitioner License (RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist).
Certifications in ACLS, Neonatal Advanced Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
