Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist

Location: Dover, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 8 weeks
Hours: 36 hours per week
Shift: Rotating nights including weekends, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Job Requirements

• Valid NH RCP or RRT license
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Experience with NRP and Neonate care required

Certifications & Licenses Required for Onboarding

• BLS (AHA, Red Cross, CHSF, or Military accepted; AHA preferred)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• RCP or RRT License
• NRP (preferred but optional for submission)
• License/Certificate Verification (Primary Source Verification required within 30 days of start)

Health & Safety Requirements

• Fit Test for N95 respirator within 365 days of start date, updated annually (no onsite testing)
• MMR vaccination or proof of immunity
• Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30), no exemptions allowed
• TB test (skin test or blood test) within 3 months of start date, updated if >6 month break
• Health Statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date, updated if >6 month break
• Respirator Medical Clearance Attestation (if fit test required)
• Hepatitis B vaccination or proof of immunity strongly preferred
• Tdap vaccine within 10 years preferred
• Positive PPD requires negative chest X-ray documentation

Professional & Background Checks

• Criminal Background Check within 45 days prior to start, updated if >6 month break
• National Sex Offender Registry check within 30 days of start, updated annually
• Exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, MassHealth, NH Medicaid) within 30 days of start, updated annually
• New Hampshire State Checks (Criminal Background and BEAS record) within 30 days prior to start, updated if >30 day break
• Social Security Number Trace for past 7 years addresses/employment/schooling
• Education Verification of highest level achieved
• Resume including past 7 years of work experience (required for submission)
• Two recent references (minimum one supervisor or above in skillset)
• Skills Checklist (required for submission)
• Candidate Submission Coversheet (required for submission)
• Confirmation of Assignment/POI Form upon acceptance and for extensions

Additional Notes

• No religious exemptions for fit testing or influenza vaccine
• Fit testing updates can only be done at select locations if assignment is extended
• All documentation must be current and compliant with specified timelines
