Cardiopulmonary Respiratory Therapist - Contract Position

Location: Hilo, Hawaii
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 15 weeks

Job Description

• Provide continuous airway management including ventilator and non-invasive ventilator support.
• Perform physician consulting and CPR.
• Deliver all aspects of respiratory care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
• Utilize equipment such as computerized charting systems, Pyxis medication management, PB 980 and PB 840 ventilators, V60, and Para Pac Transport Ventilator.

Schedule

• Day Shift: 06:30 AM to 07:00 PM
• Three 12-hour shifts weekly (36 hours)
• No guarantee of hours

Requirements

• Must have or be in the process of obtaining a State of Hawaii respiratory therapist license before the start of the assignment.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in respiratory care.
• No first assignments accepted.
• Must be able to care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations.
• Proof of flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required prior to contract start.

Certifications

• Required: RRT, BLS, ACLS
• Preferred: PALS with NRP
