Job Opportunity: Endoscopy Technician

Location: Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• 40 hours per week
• Shift: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Required Credentials and Compliance

Personal Health History Requirements (Must be completed prior to onboarding)

• MMR Vaccine or Immunity Proof: Documentation of two measles, two mumps, and one rubella vaccine or two MMR vaccines; or proof of immunity via blood test.
• Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30). No exemptions allowed.
• TB Test: Documentation of TB skin test or negative QuantiFERON/T-spot blood test within 3 months of start date; must be updated if there is a break in service over 6 months.
• Health Statement: Physician-signed health statement within 365 days of start date; updated if break >6 months.
• Fit Test (N95 Respirator): Completed within 365 days prior to start date and updated annually. Must use the specific MGB N95 Respirator Fit Test Record Form. No religious exemptions.
• Respirator Medical Clearance (RMC) Attestation: Required if fit test is needed for the role.
• Optional but Preferred: Hepatitis B vaccination or immunity proof; Tdap vaccine within 10 years.
• If Positive TB Test: Documentation of a negative chest X-ray after positive TB test is required.

Professional Requirements

• Criminal Background Check: Must be completed within 45 days prior to start date and updated if break >6 months. Includes county and international searches if applicable.
• Massachusetts CORI Check: Completed within 30 days prior to start date and updated if break >6 months.
• National Sex Offender Registry Check: Completed within 30 days prior to start and updated annually.
• Exclusion Checks: Completed within 30 days prior to start and updated annually. Includes OIG, GSA, MassHealth, and NH Medicaid exclusion lists.
• Social Security Number Trace: Completed with criminal background check, covering last 7 years of addresses/employment/education.
• Education Verification: Verified through background check company for highest level of education achieved.
• License/Certificate Verification: Primary source verification of professional license/certification within 30 days of start date and updated upon expiration. MA Conditional Licenses are not accepted.

Submission Requirements (Must be submitted prior to consideration)

• Resume: Including past 7 years of work experience with city and state for all positions and education.
• References: Two recent references, at least one supervisor or higher in the relevant skillset.
• Skills Checklist: Completed skills checklist relevant to the position.
• Candidate Submission Coversheet: Current version required.

Additional Onboarding Requirements

• Confirmation of Assignment/POI Form: Required for all initial assignments and extensions, updated if start date changes.
