Registered Nurse (RN) - Sioux City, Iowa (Temp)

Job Overview

• Position: Registered Nurse (RN)
• Location: Sioux City, Iowa
• Employment Type: Temporary
• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Participate as a member of the interdisciplinary team providing and managing patient care.
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
• Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility.
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system used: EPIC.
• Overtime and holiday pay multipliers apply.
• Required to work 2 of 3 major winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving).
• Limited time off allowed during late November and late December holiday periods.

Work Hours

• Standard hours: 36-40 hours/week with overtime billable after 40 hours.
• Alternative schedule: 48 hours/week with overtime billable after 48 hours.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of previous nursing experience.
• At least 1 completed travel contract.
• Submission must include:

  • Work history/resume
  • Skills checklist (completed within 1 year)
  • License verification
  • Required certifications
  • One supervisory reference
  • Proof of taxable address (examples: driver’s license, utility bill, lease agreement, mortgage statement, insurance statement, voter registration, bank statement, auto insurance, or tax return).

Certifications & Licenses

• Required Certifications:

  • BLS (AHA)
  • NIHSS
• State License:

  • Iowa RN license required
  • Compact license allowed

Additional Notes

• Same day interviews available.
• On-call and charge/precept pay rates apply.
• Must be prepared for potential call-back shifts with minimum hours guaranteed.
