Unit: Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) - 36 beds

Unit Information

• Staffing:

  • Day Shift: 1 charge nurse, 8 RNs, 4 PCTs
  • Night Shift: 1 charge nurse, 8 RNs, 4 PCTs
  • Total Staff: 60+
• Patient Ratios: Typically 1:4 to 1:5 depending on staffing and census
• EMR System: Meditech
• Floor: 2nd South Tower, Main Building

Required Skills & Certifications

• Must Have:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • NIH (Neuro ICU or Neurological certification)
  • IMCU experience
• Preferred:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

Additional Details

• Dress Code: Royal blue scrubs and jacket; undershirt must be royal blue or white
