Cardiology - Cardiac Cath Lab (Contract Position)

• Oshkosh, WI

Facility Overview

• Level III Trauma Center
• Level III NICU
• Primary Stroke Center
• 72 beds total
• Cath Lab: 2 rooms (1 EP/Cath room, 1 Cath Lab)

Position Details

• Employment Type: Contractor
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Minimum Experience: 2 years
• First-time travelers accepted

Patient Types / Common Diagnoses

• Cath Lab procedures including diagnostics and interventional cases
• Femoral and radial approach
• IFR, FFR, Balloon pumps

Workload

• Average cases per day: 4

Required Licensure & Certifications

• BLS
• ARRT or RCIS
• ACLS preferred

Required Skills

• Cath lab experience with relevant patient types
• Experience with balloon pumps and temporary pacers
• Ability to work in a 24/7, 365 STEMI program
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Willingness to teach and educate others
• Ability to work well within interdisciplinary teams

• IV Pump: Alaris
• Medication dispensing: Pyxis

Floating

• Floating only between rooms in the department and the pre-op area
