Job Opportunity: Labor & Delivery (L&D) Travel RN
Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado
Specialty: Nursing – Labor & Delivery (L&D)
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Join the Family Birth Place team due to high birth volume anticipated from May to July (80+ births/month).
- Provide care in L&D with experience in OR, PACU, and postpartum, offering couplet care.
- Approximately 60 deliveries per month.
- Care for babies 32 weeks gestation and older.
- Work with a team focused on evidence-based care to ensure the best patient experience.
- Must be a team player.
- The hospital has a history of compassionate, patient-centered nursing and holds a Pathway to Excellence designation.
Schedule
- 12-hour day shifts.
- Rotating weekends.
- Call rotation: typically one 12-hour shift every 6 weeks (subject to change).
Required Certifications & Licenses
- Current Colorado RN license or compact license to practice in Colorado (in good standing).
- American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program).
- STABLE certification.
- Flu vaccine required (no exemptions).
Additional Notes
- Traveler’s permanent address must be at least 75 miles away from the facility.
- The role involves working with a fun, supportive group of staff committed to quality care.
