Experience & Certification Requirements

• Minimum 24 months of current Emergency Room experience (required)
• Certifications must be from American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross, active at time of submission (required)
• Required certifications include:

  • ACLS (AHA)
  • BLS (AHA)
  • PALS (AHA)
  • TNCC
• Active Arizona nursing license required at time of submission (verification must be less than 30 days old)
• No license hits allowed
• Travel experience preferred

Compliance & Submission Requirements

• Candidates with an Arizona home address on their driver’s license will not be considered (must include a copy of driver’s license in submission)
• Flu vaccination required; declinations accepted with proper forms (vaccination status must be noted in submission)
• Banner has specific background check requirements that must be strictly followed and attested to
• Return to Office (RTO) requests:

  • Must be less than 7 days
  • Not approved during the first week of assignment or holidays
• Submission must include:

  • Fully completed Banner cover page listing all locations, shifts, and departments the candidate is willing to work
  • Resume detailing all facilities worked at, including facility size, bed count, trauma level, and units
  • Skills checklist specific to nursing discipline (must be less than 1 year old)
  • Active license verification (less than 30 days old)
  • Current certifications
  • Driver’s license copy

Facility Overview

• 20-bed hospital providing emergency services, medical/surgical care, progressive care, surgery, imaging, pharmacy, and lab services
• Focus on patient-centered care with advanced medical technology and a strong emphasis on patient and employee safety
• Utilizes Banner iCare™ for 24-hour remote monitoring by physicians and nurses to enhance patient care in Medical/Surgical and Emergency departments

Additional Notes

• Learning modules must be completed prior to assignment start
• Non-billable hours adjusted to 16 hours per assignment
• Assignments may be canceled with 7 days written notice without penalty
