Description
Registered Nurse (RN) - Temp Assignment
Location: Claremont, New Hampshire
Specialty: Medical/Surgical (MS), Telemetry (TELE), Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Job Details
- Assignment Type: Temporary
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Patient Population: Newborn to Geriatric
- RN to Patient Ratio:
- General: 5:1 (depending on acuity)
- Higher acuity PCU patients: 3:1 or 4:1
- Shifts: Day and night shifts available
- Dress Code: Personal scrubs of any color
- Facility Type: Small, rural hospital with a 25-bed general medical and surgical unit
- Work Environment: Must be able to work independently and "hit the ground running"
- Travel Requirements:
- Must have own vehicle
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered
Experience & Skills Required
- Minimum 3+ years experience in PCU, Medical/Surgical, and Telemetry
- Experience with cardiac monitoring required
- Basic dysrhythmia test certification required
- Previous travel nursing experience highly preferred
- Rural or small facility experience highly preferred
Certifications & Licenses
- Required Certifications:
- ACLS (AHA)
- BLS (AHA)
- Licensing:
- New Hampshire RN license or Compact RN license must be in-hand at submission (no pending licenses accepted)
- New Hampshire Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate required upfront
Additional Requirements & Notes
- No non-billable orientation
- OT and holiday multipliers apply
- No call or call-back required
- Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted and approved at time of application; no RTO requests after offer
- Scheduling requests must be made at submission; no accommodations or block scheduling allowed after offer
- Candidates cannot work concurrently with another permanent or travel assignment
- Submission must include permanent address and all scheduling/time off requests
- 48-hour guarantee time is not available for this assignment
