Job Opportunity: X-Ray Technologist

Location: Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Key Requirements and Credentials

Certifications & Licenses

• BLS Certification (AHA preferred; Red Cross accepted) required before onboarding
• Professional License Verification: Primary source verification required within 30 days of start; MA Conditional Licenses not accepted

Health & Immunization

• N95 Fit Test: Must be completed within 365 days prior to start and updated annually; no religious exemptions
• MMR Vaccination: Documentation of two measles, two mumps, and one rubella vaccine, or two MMR vaccines, or proof of immunity via blood test
• Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season (Sept 15 – April 30); no exemptions allowed
• TB Test: Documentation of TB skin test or negative blood test within 3 months of start; updated if break >6 months
• Health Statement: Physician-signed statement within 365 days of start; updated if break >6 months
• Respirator Medical Clearance Attestation: Required if fit test is required
• Hepatitis B Vaccine: Strongly preferred but optional
• Tdap Vaccine: Preferred if within last 10 years (optional)
• Positive PPD with Negative Chest X-Ray: Required if applicable (optional)

Background & Professional Checks

• Criminal Background Check: Within 45 days prior to start; updated if break >6 months
• Massachusetts CORI Check: Within 30 days prior to start; updated if break >6 months
• National Sex Offender Registry Check: Within 30 days prior to start; updated annually
• Exclusion Checks: OIG, GSA, MassHealth & NH Medicaid exclusion lists; updated annually
• Social Security Number Trace: Must be run with criminal check covering last 7 years
• Education Verification: Verified through background check company; highest level of education confirmed
• Resume Submission: Must include past 7 years of work experience with city and state
• References: Two recent references required, at least one supervisor or above in skillset

• Confirmation of Assignment/POI Form: Required for all initial assignments and extensions
