Job Opportunity: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech (Travel)
Location: Hudson, Florida
Employment Type: Travel
Facility & Unit Overview
- Level II Trauma Center
- Bed Capacity: 309
- Cardiac Cath Lab Unit:
- 5 procedure suites
- Staff: 1 Director, 1 CNC, ~4.6 RNs, 5 techs
- Shifts:
- Day Shift: Full staff coverage
- Night Shift: On-call crew for emergent cases only
- Patient Ratios: Approximately 1 patient to 3-4 staff members
- Equipment includes: Shockwave, Laser, CSI, Penumbra, IABP, Impella, Rotoblator
- EMR Systems: MacLab & Meditech
Job Description
- Role: Cath Lab RN able to scrub
- Typical Procedures:
- Diagnostic and Interventional Cath
- Peripheral Vascular procedures
- Pacers, ICDs, Watchman, TAVR
- EP/ABL procedures
- Scrub Color for RN: Navy Blue
Requirements
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, Cath Lab Tech Certification
- Must Have Skills:
- Cardiac Cath
- CRM (Cardiac Rhythm Management)
- PV (Peripheral Vascular) Experience
- Preferred Skills:
- EP/ABL experience
Schedule & Contract
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Work Schedule: Expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees
