Description
Job Opportunity: Acute Inpatient Physical Therapist
Position Details
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 10-hour day shifts, either 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM or 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM
- Schedule: Every other weekend required
- Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly (does not include on-call time)
- Orientation: Every other week
Requirements
- Must have a valid MA Physical Therapist license
- CPR certification required
- Experience in inpatient physical therapy
- No local travelers accepted (must reside more than 50 miles from the facility)
- Candidates who have worked for this health system as permanent or per diem staff within the last six months are not eligible (must have a six-month separation)
Job Description
- Work as part of an interdisciplinary team in an acute inpatient setting
- Perform patient evaluations and develop plans of care
- Provide physical therapy treatment for patients with a wide variety of diagnoses
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers
- Complete all required documentation accurately and timely
- Demonstrate professionalism, flexibility, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities
Additional Notes
- All return-to-office (RTO) requests must be presented at the time of submission
- Candidates must be prepared to provide availability for interviews at submission
