Description

Travel RN - Operating Room (OR)

Location: El Paso, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 8-10 hours (also mentions 7:00P-7:00A in description)
Call Requirements: Yes - weekends and nights rotation (approximately 4 weekend shifts per month)


Job Details

  • Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR)
  • Experience Required: Minimum 2 years OR RN experience (preferred)
  • Trauma Experience: Level 2 Trauma center experience required
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required
  • Unit Type: Surgery (1st floor)
  • Unit Size:
    • 10 Operating Rooms plus 2 Endoscopy Suites
    • 120 staff members
  • Patient Ratios: 1:1
  • Equipment Used: Stryker, Da Vinci, Mako, Hana
  • EMR System: MediTech
  • Typical Procedures: Robotics, Neuro, Orthopedics, Urology, Vascular, Exploratory Laparotomy (Ex Lap)
  • Preferred Skills:
    • Robotics, Neuro, Ortho, Urology, Vascular experience
    • Level 1 Trauma experience is a plus
  • Personality Fit: Team player, takes initiative
  • Dress Code: Hospital scrubs provided
