Description

Job Opportunity: Acute Dialysis RN (Travel Assignment)

Location

University of Vermont Medical Center (part of a large, 500+ bed teaching facility)

Contract Length

16 weeks

Schedule & Shift Details

10-hour day shifts: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Every other weekend commitment
On-call hours with call and floating expected
Monday through Sunday coverage, no block schedules
Travelers must work 2 out of 4 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day

Experience & Requirements

Pediatric (PEDS) experience required
Apheresis experience preferred
Minimum 3 years of nursing experience
Prior travel nursing experience required
Experience working in an acute unit with very sick patients
EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) experience within the past 2 years is mandatory
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Additional Information

IV start skills required
Bi-weekly orientations (next available on 12/29)
Complete and detailed work history required, including bed count, EMR, and facility type
Reliable transportation is essential; public transportation is not available
Personal or rental vehicle recommended, with all-season or snow tires required November through April
