Travel RN - BMT ICU
Location: Denver, Colorado
Unit: Blood & Marrow Transplant (BMT) ICU
Shift: 7 AM - 7 PM (Day Shift)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Unit Information
- Beds: 37
- Staff: 82 nurses, 7 Patient Care Technicians (PCTs)
- Day Shift Staffing: 1 charge nurse, 15-16 nurses, 3 PCTs
- Night Shift Staffing: 1 charge nurse, 15-16 nurses
- Patient Ratio: 3:1
- Equipment: Alaris Pumps
- EMR System: Meditech
Required Qualifications
- Oncology experience
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
- NIH Certification
- Registered Nurse License
Preferred Qualifications
- Chemotherapy Certification
- BMTCN and/or OCN certification
Typical Procedures
- Chemotherapy administration
- Neutropenic fever protocols (including blood culture draws and IV medications)
