Pharmacist Opportunity

Location: Central Vermont Medical Center (part of University of Vermont Health Network)
Contract Length: 16 weeks (approximately 4 months)
Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• Shifts available: 06:30-15:00, 10:00-18:30, or 12:00-20:00
• No block schedules; workdays may be Monday to Sunday

Experience Required:

• Minimum 5 years of pharmacy experience
• Prior travel experience not required

Required Competencies:

• Sterile Compounding Competency (including fingertip and broth tests)
• Math competency test
• Staff Pharmacist skills including:

  • Medication reconciliation
  • Order verification
  • Management of vancomycin dosing and labs
  • Renal dosing

Additional Notes:

• IV Solutions to offer
• Bi-weekly orientations on Mondays
• All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained
• Complete work history required (including bed count, EMR, facility type)

Transportation:

• Public transportation is not available in the area
• Reliable personal or rental vehicle strongly recommended
• Vehicles should have all-season or snow tires from November through April
