Travel RN Opportunity – ICU/CCU Unit
Location: Bowling Green, Kentucky
Unit Information
- Unit: ICU/CCU
- Number of Beds: 16
- Patient Ratios: Typically 2:1, occasionally 3:1
- Staffing: Unit secretaries and tech availability varies; tech staffed depending on census
- Equipment: Impella, GE monitors, Temporary Pacemakers, EKOS, IABP, Artic Sun, Hemodynamic monitoring
- Documentation System: Meditech
- Scheduling Requirements: 36 hours per week
- Floating Policy: Float in rotation with core staffing
- Dress Code: Scrubs (any color), no denim, capris, or camo
Required Certifications & Skills
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS
- Skills: Critical thinking, self-motivated
- Advanced Skills: Central line insertions, dialysis catheter insertions
Work Environment & Culture
- Teamwork-oriented environment with a mix of experienced day and night shift staff
- Flexible scheduling options
- Recognized for compassionate care (e.g., Daisy Award, hospice blanket-making initiative)
