Description

Travel RN Opportunity – ICU/CCU Unit

Location: Bowling Green, Kentucky

Unit Information

Unit: ICU/CCU
Number of Beds: 16
Patient Ratios: Typically 2:1, occasionally 3:1
Staffing: Unit secretaries and tech availability varies; tech staffed depending on census
Equipment: Impella, GE monitors, Temporary Pacemakers, EKOS, IABP, Artic Sun, Hemodynamic monitoring
Documentation System: Meditech
Scheduling Requirements: 36 hours per week
Floating Policy: Float in rotation with core staffing
Dress Code: Scrubs (any color), no denim, capris, or camo

Required Certifications & Skills

Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS
Skills: Critical thinking, self-motivated
Advanced Skills: Central line insertions, dialysis catheter insertions

Work Environment & Culture

Teamwork-oriented environment with a mix of experienced day and night shift staff
