Job Description

  • Administer high doses of ionizing radiation safely under the direct supervision of a radiation oncologist.
  • Acquire and analyze data to prepare for patient treatment.
  • Use various imaging technologies for localization of the treatment area.
  • Participate in treatment planning as prescribed by the radiation oncologist.
  • Serve as a primary liaison between patients and the radiation oncology team.
  • Assist in communication with other healthcare providers such as social workers and dietitians.
  • Provide patient assessment, monitoring, and care with sensitivity to patient needs.
  • Adhere to professional standards, code of ethics, and regulatory policies.
  • Work hours: 8am - 4:30pm, with flexibility to adjust as needed to support business operations.

Requirements

  • License: ARRT Radiation Therapy license required.
  • State License: Massachusetts Radiation Therapy license required.
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months).
