Job Description

Administer high doses of ionizing radiation safely under the direct supervision of a radiation oncologist.
Acquire and analyze data to prepare for patient treatment.
Use various imaging technologies for localization of the treatment area.
Participate in treatment planning as prescribed by the radiation oncologist.
Serve as a primary liaison between patients and the radiation oncology team.
Assist in communication with other healthcare providers such as social workers and dietitians.
Provide patient assessment, monitoring, and care with sensitivity to patient needs.
Adhere to professional standards, code of ethics, and regulatory policies.
Work hours: 8am - 4:30pm, with flexibility to adjust as needed to support business operations.

Requirements

License: ARRT Radiation Therapy license required.
State License: Massachusetts Radiation Therapy license required.
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months).
