Description
Travel RN Opportunity – Nashville, Tennessee
Unit Information
- Unit: 5T PCU
- Number of Beds: 33
- Patient Ratios: 3:1 or 4:1
- Unit Staffing: Unit Secretaries Monday-Friday 7am-7pm; Nurse Externs available at times
- Documentation System: Meditech
- Scheduling Requirements: Work every other weekend, 36 hours per week, with flexibility to fill in scheduling needs
- Floating Policy: First to float
- Patient Experience Focus: Pain management, communication, and responsiveness
Hospital Certifications Required
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ALS (Advanced Life Support)
- EKG Interpretation
Required Skills and Experience
- Experience with Post-Op CABGs, vascular, and general cardiac patient populations
- Knowledge of cardiac drips/titrations and electrolyte replacement
- Experience managing Chest Tubes, Epicardial Pacing Wires, and TR Bands
Dress Code
- Scrubs in Galaxy Blue, Red, or Black
