Travel RN Opportunity – Med-Surg Telemetry Unit
Location: Manchester, New Hampshire
Unit Information
- Unit: D100 Med-Surg/Telemetry
- Number of Beds: 47
- Staffing:
- Day Shift: 1 Charge RN/CNC, 9-10 nurses, 4 LNA’s, 1 Monitor Tech, 1 Secretary
- Night Shift: 1 Charge RN/CNC, 9 nurses, 4 LNA’s, 1 Monitor Tech
- Patient Ratios:
- Day: 1 nurse to 4-5 patients
- Night: 1 nurse to 5 patients
- Patient Population: Med-surg telemetry, moderate acuity including vascular and bariatric patients
- Typical Procedures: Not a procedural unit
- Equipment Used: Alaris Pumps, Bladder scanners, Atrium chest tube drainage systems, Dinamaps, Vein finder, etc.
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Sunrise
Required Skills & Certifications
- Must Have:
- Telemetry experience
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
- Preferred:
- Bariatric patient care experience
- Cardiac experience
- Certifications Required:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
- ACLS
- BLS
- NIH Certification
Work Environment & Expectations
- Shift: Includes every other weekend
- Floating Areas: Med-surg telemetry units
- Dress Code: Scrubs, no assigned color
- Personality Fit: Hardworking
Contract Length
- 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
This position is ideal for RNs with telemetry experience looking for a travel assignment in a moderate acuity med-surg telemetry setting.
