Work Schedule

• 36-hour work week
• Rotating Day/Night shifts
• 12-hour shifts:

  • Day: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
  • Night: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM

Required Credentials & Compliance

Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support): Required for onboarding. Preferred AHA certification; Red Cross accepted.

Licenses

• Professional License Verification: Must provide primary source verification within 30 days of start date. MA Conditional Licenses not accepted.

Personal Health Requirements

• N95 Fit Test: Required within 365 days of start date and updated annually. Must be completed prior to start; no onsite testing available.
• MMR Vaccination or Immunity: Documentation of required vaccines or proof of immunity via blood test.
• Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season (Sept 15 – April 30). No exemptions allowed.
• TB Test: Documentation of TB skin test or negative blood test within 3 months of start date; updated if >6 month break.
• Health Statement: Physician-signed statement within 365 days of start date; updated if >6 month break.
• Respirator Medical Clearance (RMC) Attestation: Required if fit test is required.
• Optional but Preferred: Hepatitis B vaccination or immunity, Tdap vaccine within 10 years.
• If Positive TB Test: Negative chest X-ray documentation required.

Professional Requirements

• Criminal Background Check: Within 45 days prior to start; updated if >6 month break. Includes county and international searches as applicable.
• Massachusetts CORI Check: Within 30 days prior to start; updated if >6 month break.
• Resume: Must include past 7 years of work experience with city and state. Required for submission.
• References: Two recent references required, at least one supervisor or above in the skillset. Required for submission.
• Skills Checklist: Required for submission.
• Confirmation of Assignment/POI Form: Required for onboarding and assignment extensions.
• Education Verification: Verified through background check company; must verify highest level of education.
• SSN Trace: Must be run with criminal check covering last 7 years.
• National Sex Offender Check: Within 30 days of start and updated annually.
• Exclusion Checks: Within 30 days of start and annually; includes OIG, GSA, MassHealth, and NH Medicaid lists.

Summary

This position requires a Certified Respiratory Therapist to work a 13-week long-term assignment with rotating 12-hour day and night shifts. Candidates must meet comprehensive credentialing, licensing, health, and background check requirements prior to onboarding. Compliance with vaccination, fit testing, and various professional verifications is mandatory.
