Description

General Imaging Contract Opportunity

Employment Type: Contractor
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Facility Overview

60-bed facility
Level 3 Trauma Center
Located near Racine, WI
COVID vaccine required

Work Environment

Beds: 2 diagnostic, 1 fluoroscopy (fluoro unlikely on 3rd shift)
Patient Types: Inpatient, Outpatient, Emergency Department, mostly adults with some pediatrics
Patient Ratio: 1:1

Experience & Certifications

Minimum 2 years of experience required
First-time travelers welcome with a strong background
Required Certifications: BLS, ARRT
Must obtain Wisconsin state license

Skills & Responsibilities

Chest x-rays, long bone x-rays
C-arm operation
Surgical patients
Portable imaging experience
Limited fluoroscopy

Support & Resources

Transport available 7 AM - 9 PM
Respiratory Therapist available 24/7
Hospitalist available 24/7

Technology & Equipment

EMR system: EPIC
Medication dispensing: Pyxis
PACS: McKesson (preferred experience)
Portable machines: Canon
Fluoroscopy: GE
C-arms: OEC
Diagnostic rooms: Dell computers with Canon plates

Additional Information

Floating throughout hospital for portable imaging, including OR and ED
Orientation: 2-3 days depending on comfort level
Scrub color: Any
Parking: Free
