Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel Position
Location: Santa Fe, New Mexico
Shift: Nights (7 PM - 7 AM)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Summary
The Registered Nurse (Clinical Nurse I-IV) coordinates and implements patient care tailored to the age of the patient population on assigned units. Ensures quality, efficient, and safe care consistent with unit standards. Demonstrates professionalism, respect, and effective communication with staff, physicians, patients, and families.

Minimum Qualifications
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
Licenses & Certifications
- Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
- BLS Certification required
- ACLS Certification required via AHA
- TNCC Certification required
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an RN in the specialty
Skills
- Current knowledge and skills appropriate to the patient population served
- Sensitivity to patients’ rights in care delivery
- Clear and age-appropriate communication skills
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Exposure to bloodborne pathogens and infectious diseases
- Clean, well-lighted, ventilated, smoke-free environment
- Subject to stressful professional relationships and variable working hours with flexibility for emergencies
- Must handle emergency/crisis situations
- Requires prolonged standing, walking, heavy physical effort for patient positioning and equipment handling
- Physical abilities include reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, good visual and hearing acuity, manual dexterity, and fine motor coordination
