Description

ICU Travel Nurse Opportunity

Location: Not specified
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 8 weeks

Schedule:

12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
Every third weekend required

Unit Details:

10-bed ICU
Patient population includes critically ill adult patients with medical emergencies, post-surgical care, respiratory failure, sepsis, and stroke patients
Some pediatric critical care for stabilization before transfer to tertiary centers
Stroke patients managed with telestroke/tele-neurology services (Primary Stroke Center)

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years ICU nursing experience
Epic electronic health record experience required
ACLS and BLS certification (AHA) required

Additional Information:

Contract guarantee: 72 hours biweekly (does not include on-call time)
Start date fixed: December 29
Hard end date: February 28
No separation required from previous employer within the hospital system for submission
