Registered Nurse (RN) - Temp Position

Location: Rock Island, Illinois
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work as part of an interdisciplinary team providing and managing patient care.
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
• Local travelers are not accepted; candidates must have a taxable address at least 50 miles from the facility.
• Required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays: Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving.
• Limit of 1 day off request between 11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26 for all travelers regardless of holidays worked.

Required Experience & Skills

• Med Surg, Telemetry, or Stepdown experience required.
• Some oncology experience required.
• Must have experience with EPIC EMR.

Certification Requirements

• ACLS (AHA)
• BLS (AHA)

Licensing Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license required at time of submission.
• Iowa RN license also required. If Iowa license is not active, proof of application for IA single state license or compact RN license must be provided.
• Compact license allowed.

Additional Information

• Night shift differential: 16 hours
• Holiday multiplier: 1.15x
• Call back multiplier: 1.5x with 2-hour minimum
• On call pay: $9/hr
• Charge/Precept pay: $6/hr
• Billable overtime starts after 36-40 hours/week depending on shift
• EMR system used: EPIC
