Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - Temp Position

Location: Keene, New Hampshire
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Overview

Position requires holiday coverage: Travelers must work one of the following holiday periods:
- Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and the Friday/weekend after
- New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day and the Friday/weekend after
Extensions or assignments ending in November or before December holidays will not be considered for extension into 2026.
Shift accommodation requests (e.g., block scheduling) will not be considered.
Patient population: Adult-Geriatric
Unit includes Kingsbury Custodial Unit with lower acuity patients and ratios up to 9:1; travelers must be willing to care for these patients.
Traveler may be required to float to Thompson Unit and Kingsbury Custodial Unit as needed.
EMR system used: Epic
Dress code: Traveler-provided professional scrubs (no logos)
Orientation: No billable orientation hours
OT and holiday pay multiplier: 1.25x

Requirements

Minimum 2+ years Med Surg experience
EPIC experience required
Must have own vehicle for transportation
Permanent address must be included in profile
All requested Return to Office (RTO) dates must be included in profile; no RTO requests accepted after offer
New Hampshire Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate must be uploaded with profile before consideration
New Hampshire RN license must be in-hand at profile upload; facility will not pend license
Must meet all medical/occupational health compliance requirements within 5 days of offer acceptance; proofs must be uploaded promptly

Cheshire Medical Center is a 169-bed regional referral center in Keene, NH, offering primary and specialty care.
Keene is located near Boston, MA and Hartford, CT, with access to outdoor activities such as hiking Mt. Monadnock and exploring local historical sites.

This position is not open to local travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility.
