Job Opportunity: Technologist (Temp)

Location: Keene, New Hampshire
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Position patients on examining table and adjust immobilization devices to obtain optimum views as requested by Physician.
• Complete all routine diagnostic procedures.
• Operate and position radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment, including mobile units in OR, ER, or bedside.
• Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
• Prioritize and organize daily workflow efficiently.
• Maintain excellent oral and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Dress code: Hospital blue scrubs (provided), business casual with lab coat, or plain personal scrubs. No hooded sweatshirts. Closed-toe shoes required. Hair must be pulled back if longer than shoulder length; no dangling earrings.
• Requested time off during assignment must be noted and verified at profile upload; no more than 5 days allowed.

Requirements

• Experience:

  • Minimum 1+ year current X-Ray Tech experience in a hospital setting (required).
  • Proficient/highly experienced with Fluoroscopy, Digital Radiography, Portables, and OR C-arm (required).
  • Experience with all age groups (required).
  • Previous travel experience (preferred).

• Licenses & Certifications:

  • ARRT certification.
  • BLS certification.
  • New Hampshire License of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (NH MIRT) required at profile upload or proof of current state license for reciprocity.

• Other:

  • Must have own vehicle due to lack of public transportation in the community.
  • Cover page (if available), work history, license/certifications, and permanent address must be uploaded with profile.

• This is a small community without public transport; having a personal vehicle is mandatory.
