Description

Travel Nurse Opportunity - Critical Care Unit (CRU)

Contract Length

6 weeks

Start Date

Must start within the next 2 weeks

Schedule

Monday to Sunday (no block schedules)
Weekends and call required
Must work 2 out of 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, and New Year's Day

Requirements

Prior travel nursing experience required
Minimum 2 years experience in the unit
Experience in a Level 1 Trauma center required
EPIC electronic medical record experience within the past 2 years (mandatory)
Ability to both circulate and scrub (both skill checklists required)
Strong neuro experience required
Additional strong skills in:
- General OR
- Orthopedics
- Urology
- Oncology
- Da Vinci Robotics
- General surgery
- ENT
- Dental
- Plastics
- Neuro
- Cardiovascular Thoracic (CVT)
- Trauma

Additional Information

IV sedation certification to offer
Complete and detailed work history required (including bed count, EMR, facility type)
Employment gaps over 90 days must be explained

Location Notes

Public transportation is not accessible; reliable personal or rental vehicle strongly recommended
Vehicles should have all-season or snow tires from November through April
