Diagnostic Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Contract)

Job Overview

Seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with recent travel experience to perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine studies. This role requires working 40 hours per week on a 5-day, 8-hour shift schedule.

Requirements

Licensure & Certification

• ARRT or NMTCB registered or registry pending
• NDMIRTBE licensed or temporary license

Experience & Skills

• Recent travel experience required (locals within 50 miles not accepted)
• Working knowledge of Nuclear Medicine procedures
• Graduate of Nuclear Medicine School or ARRT Registered Technologist
• Ability to start IVs for contrast administration
• Experience with proper charging of procedures in hospital information systems
• Ability to adapt and learn new protocols on new equipment
• Cerner experience strongly preferred
• Experience with stress tests, HIDA, Bone, and PET/CT helpful but not required

Duties

• Perform Nuclear Medicine studies, including preparation, measurement, and administration of radiopharmaceuticals under Radiologist direction
• Conduct quality control and calibration testing on cameras and radiation measuring equipment
• Follow radiation safety protocols for handling radioactive materials
• Organize and perform daily work to ensure smooth and timely exam flow

• Submission requires resume, skills checklist, and proof of licensure (Full NURSYS report if RN)
• Mostly standard imaging procedures with some specialized tests possible
• Must comply with radiation safety policies and hospital procedures
