Job Details

• Work hours include evenings and weekends.
• Experience with GE and Siemens MRI scanners.
• Serve both outpatient and inpatient populations.

Required Credentials and Compliance for Onboarding

Certifications & Licenses

• BLS (Basic Life Support): Required before onboarding. Acceptable certifications include AHA, Red Cross, CHSF, or Military.
• ARRT Certification: Required before onboarding.
• Professional License Verification: Primary source verification of professional license/certification required within 30 days of start date. MA Conditional Licenses are not accepted.

Personal Health Requirements

• Fit Test (N95 Respirator): Required within 365 days of start date and updated annually. Must be completed on the official MGB form. No religious exemptions.
• MMR Vaccination or Immunity: Documentation of two measles, two mumps, and one rubella vaccine or two MMR vaccines, or proof of immunity via blood test.
• Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30). No exemptions allowed.
• TB Test: Documentation of TB skin test or negative QuantiFERON/T-spot blood test within 3 months of start date, updated if there is a break >6 months.
• Health Statement: Physician-signed statement within 365 days of start date, updated if >6 month break.
• Respirator Medical Clearance Attestation: Required if fit test is required.
• Hepatitis B Vaccine: Strongly preferred but optional.
• Tdap Vaccine: Preferred, within last 10 years.
• Positive PPD with Negative Chest X-Ray: Optional, if applicable.
• TB Symptom Survey: Optional, if positive PPD.

Professional Requirements

• Criminal Background Check: Within 45 days prior to start date, updated if >6 month break. Includes international searches if applicable.
• Massachusetts CORI Check: Within 30 days prior to start date, updated if >6 month break.
• National Sex Offender Check: Within 30 days prior to start date, updated annually.
• Exclusion Checks: Within 30 days prior to start date and annually. Includes OIG, GSA, MassHealth, and NH Medicaid exclusion lists.
• Education Verification: Verified through background check company for highest level of education.
• SSN Trace: Must be run with criminal check, covering last 7 years of addresses and aliases.

Submission Requirements

• Resume: Must include past 7 years of work experience with city and state. Required for submission.
• References: Two recent references required, at least one must be a supervisor or higher in the relevant skillset.
• Skills Checklist: Required for submission.
• Candidate Submission Coversheet: Required for submission.

Additional Onboarding Requirements

• Confirmation of Assignment/POI Form: Required for all initial assignments and extensions, must be updated if start date changes.

Summary

This MRI Technician role requires flexibility for evening and weekend shifts, proficiency with GE and Siemens scanners, and compliance with extensive credentialing and health requirements prior to onboarding. The contract length is approximately 13 weeks. Candidates must be prepared to submit detailed documentation including certifications, health records, background checks, and references.
