Job Opportunity: Technologist (Temp)

Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa

Job Description

• Contribute professional nursing knowledge and skills as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Provide and manage patient care through the nursing process.
• Work primarily in a vascular/interventional radiology (IR) lab setting.
• Fluency and proficiency required in Endovascular/Vascular Interventional procedures.
• Experience in Cath Lab or IR setting is essential.

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of current vascular/IR lab experience.
• ARRT certification.
• BLS (AHA) certification.
• Work history/resume.
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission.
• License verification.
• Copy of required certifications.
• One supervisory performance evaluation or reference from within the last 2 years of employment/contract.
• Proof of taxable address (one of the following):

  • Driver’s License
  • Current Utility Bill
  • Lease/Rental Agreement
  • Mortgage Statement/Bill
  • Homeowner’s or Renter’s Insurance Statement/Bill
  • Voter Registration
  • Bank Statement
  • Auto Insurance
  • Tax Return

Additional Information

• Must be local or within 50 miles radius.
• Required to work 2 of 3 major winter holidays (Christmas, New Year’s, or Thanksgiving).
• Limited time off allowed during late November and late December holiday periods.
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system used: EPIC.
• Call back and on-call shifts available with additional compensation.
• Billable overtime available after standard hours.
