Radiology Tech - Diagnostic Imaging

Location: Edwards, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days
Schedule: 4x10 (four 10-hour shifts per week)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Start Date: January 1, 2026

Job Description

• Perform all radiographic examinations according to established protocols.
• Assist Radiologist with fluoroscopic procedures.
• Operate large C-arm and O-arm equipment under surgeon direction.
• Verify patient identity and review exam orders for accuracy and consistency with clinical diagnosis.
• Maintain communication with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare team members to support continuity of care.
• Adhere to department policies including confidentiality, quality assurance, safety, radiation protection, infection control, and universal precautions.
• Use hospital information systems (HIS) and PACS for patient documentation.
• Monitor and maintain supply inventory in exam and dressing rooms.
• Model organizational values and Just Culture principles.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Must comply with HIPAA regulations.

Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of radiology experience preferred.
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Computer skills necessary to complete online learning and access job-related systems (must be obtained within 90 days if not already possessed).
• Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking).
