Job Opportunity: Operating Room RN (Contract)
Specialty: Registered Nurse - Operating Room (Surgical Scrub Tech Role)
Employment Type: Contractor
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Perform preparatory, scrubbing, and related services to support patient care in the operating room.
- Assist with surgical cases across all specialty areas including General, Gynecology, Urology, ENT, Vascular, Neuro, Spinal, Dental, Complex cases, Pediatrics, and Adults.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in surgical assisting/scrubbing.
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required.
- Experience with a variety of surgeries as listed above.
Work Environment
- Small facility with 6 beds (5 general, 1 urology).
- Patient types include both pediatric and adult populations.
- Tech to patient ratio is 1:1.
- Bedside telemetry monitoring required.
Schedule
- On-call availability preferred.
- Weekend rotation preferably 1 weekend per month.
