Travel RN Opportunity – Manchester, New Hampshire

Position Details

  • Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry Unit
  • Employment Type: Travel
  • Location: Manchester, NH
  • Unit: HVIU/D200 (Telemetry/Cardiac Care)
  • Unit Beds: 24
  • Patient Ratios: 1:4 (days and nights)
  • Scheduling: Every other weekend
  • Floating Policy: Float to like units

Unit Environment

  • Staffing: Charge nurse, Patient Care Technician (PCT), and monitor tech available
  • Equipment: Telemetry monitoring
  • Documentation System: Allscripts
  • Procedures Performed:
    • TAVR (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement)
    • Cardiac ablations
    • Watchman device care
    • STEMI care
    • Pacemakers
    • CardioMEMS
  • Patient Care Focus: Post-TAVR, cardiac catheterizations, ablations, Watchman device, cardiac drips

Required Certifications and Licenses

  • Registered Nurse License (valid in New Hampshire)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • NIH Stroke Scale Certification

Skills and Experience

  • Knowledge and experience with telemetry monitoring
  • Advanced cardiac care skills related to the procedures listed above

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

This position offers the opportunity to work in a specialized cardiac telemetry unit with advanced procedures and a supportive team environment. Scheduling includes every other weekend with a consistent patient ratio, and the unit uses modern documentation and monitoring technology.
