Registered Nurse (RN) - Temp Position

Location: Batesville, Arkansas

Job Summary

• Deliver patient care using the nursing process in line with established standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care and desired outcomes.
• Provide physical and psychological support to patients.
• Interact professionally with patients, families, and visitors.

Requirements

Experience

• Minimum 2+ years of Operating Room (OR) experience required.
• Must be able to circulate in the following specialties: GYN, ENT, Urology, Orthopedics, General Surgery, Vascular.
• Experience with Pediatric to Geriatric populations required.
• MediTech electronic medical record (EMR) experience required.

Certifications

• ACLS (AHA)
• BLS (AHA)
• PALS (AHA)

Licensure

• Active Arkansas nursing license required.
• Compact license allowed.

Additional Candidate Requirements

• Work history documentation.
• Skills checklist current to within 1 year, relevant to specialty.
• Two supervisory references with dates of employment.
• Must provide permanent address.
• Applicants within 90 miles of Batesville will not be considered; those between 90-150 miles may be reviewed but are less likely to be selected.

• Unit size: 11 beds
• RN to patient ratio: 1:1
• EMR system: MediTech
• Trauma Level: III
• Dress code: Hospital provided scrubs

Contract Length

• 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)

This position is ideal for experienced OR RNs comfortable with circulating across multiple surgical specialties and working with a wide age range of patients in a trauma level III facility.
