Description

Travel Medical-Surgical (Telemetry) RN Opportunity

Specialty: Medical - Surgical (Telemetry)
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 32 weeks

Unit & Patient Care Details

Assignment on M5/McClure 5: Neurosurgical & surgical unit
Schedule includes a minimum of every other weekend or adjusted as needed for unit and patient care
Required to work 2 out of 4 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, and New Year's Day
Work schedule: Monday through Sunday, no block schedules

Requirements

Prior travel nursing experience required
Minimum 2 years of unit experience in a similar setting
Experience in a large, teaching hospital required
Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS (NIHSS must be completed prior to start)
Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years is mandatory and non-negotiable

Additional Information

IVS (Incentive Vacation Shift) available to offer
Bi-weekly orientations on Mondays
All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained
Complete work history required including bed count, EMR, and facility type
Reliable personal or rental vehicle strongly recommended due to lack of public transportation
Vehicles should have all-season or snow tires from November through April
