Respiratory Therapist Travel Assignment

Location:

• Children's Hospital Colorado – North Campus (Denver Metro area)
• May be floated within 35 miles to other network facilities

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Assignment Dates: 01/06/2026 to 04/11/2026
• Shift: 12-hour nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
• Weekend Requirement: 13 weekend shifts out of 26
• On-Call: None
• Holiday Work: Required to work one holiday (including Easter) during the assignment
• RTO Blackout Dates: 2/7-2/15, 3/22-3/28, 4/3-4/7
• No requested time off approved during first two weeks
• Float Requirement: May be reassigned to other clinical areas within competence

Work Hours Options:

• 36 or 48 hours per week (must specify preference)

Qualifications

Education:

• Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Cardiopulmonary

Licensure/Certification:

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP certifications required

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years Pediatric ICU
• Minimum 3 years Neonatal ICU
• Minimum 1 year Pediatric Level 1 Trauma

Preferred Experience:

• Minimum 4 years Pediatric ICU
• Minimum 4 years Neonatal ICU
• Minimum 2 years Pediatric Level 1 Trauma

Other Requirements:

• Prior travel assignment experience required
• Must work observed holidays during contract
• Medical and religious exemptions allowed for seasonal influenza vaccination
