Description
Physical Therapist (PT) - Travel Position
Location: Manchester, New Hampshire
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Job Details
- Shift Times: Start between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM, ending between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM
- Schedule: Monday through Friday with 1 weekend shift per month (weekend shifts are self-selected)
- Unit: Physical Therapy - Inpatient
- Patient Ratios: Approximately 10 patients per 8-hour day
- Patient Population: Acute care with higher volumes of cardiac, vascular, and orthopedic patients
- Preferred Experience: Vestibular experience preferred but not required
- Floating Policy: Covers all inpatient units and Emergency Department; NICU patients not covered
- Daily Assignments: Therapists typically assigned to 1-2 floors
Unit & Facility Information
- Number of Beds: 330
- Staffing: PT, OT, ST, Therapy Director, unit secretaries, and tech availability
- Equipment: Basic rehab equipment, portable parallel bars, portable stairs, Sara Stedy, ceiling lifts, Hoyer lifts
- Documentation System: Sunrise Allscripts
- Dress Code: Scrubs (no specific color required)
- Team: Dedicated and collaborative with extensive experience in multiple settings
- Work Environment: Exposure to a wide variety of patients and diagnoses
- Shift Flexibility: Start time flexible between 7 AM and 8 AM, with openness to later start times
Requirements
- Licenses: New Hampshire Physical Therapy License
- Certifications: BLS certification required
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Physical Therapy specialty
- Prior Travel Experience: Not specified as required
