Travel RN - Cardiac Cath Lab
Location: Manchester, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Travel
Unit Information
- Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab
- Location: Level A, Main Hospital
- Hours:
- Radial Lounge: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM
- Cath Lab: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM Monday-Friday with 24-hour call coverage
- Labs: 3 cath labs, holding area for in-patients, radial lounge for out-patients
- Staffing:
- Cath Lab: 7 Techs, 13 RNs (including manager)
- Radial Lounge: 5 RNs, 1 LNA
- Equipment: OCT, IVUS, Shockwave, Impella, IABP, Pacers, Rota, CSI, Opsens, Cath Works, Penumbra
- EMR Systems: Sunrise / Allscripts, Mac Lab
- Patient Population: Adult
Required Skills & Experience
- Critical care experience
- Experience with Impella and IABP devices
- Ability to titrate drips independently
- ACLS certification required
Typical Procedures
- Left and Right heart catheterizations
- Drug studies
- TAVR (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement)
- TMVR (Transcatheter Mitral Valve Replacement)
- ASD/PFO closures
- Stents and angioplasty
- Atherectomy (Rota, CSI, Shockwave)
- Mechanical thrombectomy (INARI and EKOS)
- IABP and Impella management
- Mitral clip procedures
- Temporary and pressure wires
- VSD (Ventricular Septal Defect) interventions
- CardioMEMS monitoring
Personality Fit

- Registered Nurse (RN) License

Scheduling & Call
- Self-scheduling for call: approximately one day per week and one weekend per month
- Call hours: 4:30 PM - 7:30 AM the following morning
- Weekend call: 4:30 PM Friday to 7:30 AM Monday
Dress Code
- Ceil Blue scrubs provided by hospital
