Description
Job Opportunity: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
Location: San Antonio, Texas
Employment Type: Travel Contract (13 weeks)
Position Overview
Seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech with a minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience. This is a travel assignment requiring flexibility and the ability to work call nights and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Certifications:
- ARRT Certification (Tech)
- Texas Medical Board License
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- Cath Lab Tech Certification
- Minimum 2+ years of Cath Lab experience (highest required years of experience)
- Ability to operate Bi-Plane Imaging Suites
- Must be able to pull call nights and weekends
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Meditech documentation system
Work Details
- Shift: 36 to 40 hours per week
- Call Requirements: Must be able to pull call nights and weekends
- Floating: All travelers are required to float as needed per facility policy
- Dress Code:
- Scrubs provided (brown for Cath Lab Tech)
- Clean and healthy nails
- Hair must be covered with OR cap (color irrelevant)
- Tattoos should be covered whenever possible; exceptions handled individually
- Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited

- Unit: Cath Lab
- Procedures performed:
- Heart Catheterizations
- Electrophysiology (EP) studies
- Interventional Radiology studies

- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this role.
- Must have a positive, caring attitude and commitment to patient care quality.
